In our Cypress® Ceramic Grill, the ceramic bowl and ring work as a unit within the grill.

Together they provide air flow for excellent cooking and insulation to keep the exterior surface from getting too hot. The ceramic bowl provides a base for the ring and holds the steel charcoal plate as a foundation for the fire. It is made of firebrick ceramic and can withstand searing temperatures and extreme temperature changes. Because ceramic can be delicate, there are occasions (possibly when relocating the unit) when damage can occur. The good news is that the ceramic will continue to work even if it is cracked or chipped. However, if a part is damaged beyond use, the team at Bayou Classic® is available to help you replace your part.

Shipping the ceramic bowl is tricky because of its delicate nature. We want the ceramic insulation ring to arrive in good condition, so to make this happen, these require LTL shipping.
